WROO voluntarily monitors NWS/NOAA broadcasts from KHB-39, Jacksonville, on 162.55mHz. This frequency ONLY transmits warnings for the following counties: Camden, Clay, Duval, Nassau, St. Johns.

Alerts for other counties, including Baker, Bradford, Putnam, & Union counties, even though part of the local EAS operational area as specified by the State EAS Plan, are NOT transmitted from KHB-39, Jacksonville. WROO is unable to receive broadcasts from other NOAA transmitters and ONLY retransmitts warning from KHB-39.
